Research information ecosystem has become increasingly complex and powerful. Data and metadata about research output (e.g. publications, research data, impact metrics etc.) and research investment in a research institution can be harvested, organized, analyzed and visualized by Research Information Management System (RIMS). RIMS with a profiling and networking interface can inform different stakeholders on decision making, showcase research accomplishments and distinction, and facilitate collaborations at all levels within the institution and beyond. This program will help librarians take the leadership role with evaluating campus needs of a RIMS and selecting a solution.
